The Icon Portrait Session Process
While there are a few exceptions, typically our portrait session process follows the steps below for most all our custom sessions for Babies, Children, Families, & High School Senior options.
- Scheduling your session: When you call or come by the studio to schedule your session, we will get details on the type of session you want, check dates & availability that best suit your schedule, and confirm everything. We require a Reservation Retainer of $50.00 to book & hold your appointment specifically for you.
- The Session Day: On the day of your session, we ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your scheduled time to allow you time to settle into the dressing room, organize clothing/accessories, & speak with our photographer about your ideas & what you would like to accomplish for your portraits. Once the session is finished, we will help fill out paperwork, schedule your return viewing & ordering session, & take payment of your order retainer of $200.00. This $200.00 is required to cover overhead & labor to photograph your session & prepare your images for viewing.
- The Viewing/Order Session: We usually can have your images ready for viewing within 3-4 business days following your session. On the day of your viewing/ordering session, we will bring you into the viewing room where we will show you all your images in a slideshow music video presentation. Then, we will switch to our presentation sales software where we will help you compare images, select favorites & discuss the best possible display options for those portraits.
- Payment Options: We require payment in full in order to process & finalize your purchase. We will apply one half of your previous retainers paid ($125.00) toward your order up to $499.00. For orders of $500.00 or more, we will apply the full retainers ($250.00) paid back toward your purchases. For your convenience, we accept check or debit/credit card. If necessary, we offer a 6 month interest free payment plan through PayPal. If you prefer this option, you may simply go to www.paypalcredit.com, apply, & within a few minutes be approved for this plan. Be sure to ask details about this option.
- Fulfillment of your order: Once payment is complete, we will process your order completely. Orders are usually fulfilled & ready for delivery in 3-4 weeks. Please note, no partial orders will be submitted & no part of an order will be processed without payment in full. Once your order is in & quality checked, we will call to schedule a time for you to come in & pick it up.
