Tips for looking your best in Senior Formal Photos
GUYS:
1. Get a good night's sleep the night before so you don't wake up with bags under your eyes and looking tired.
2. Drink plenty of water the two days before so your skin looks hydrated and healthy.
3. Please do NOT try a new haircut or hairstyle on photo day. WE ARE NOT HAIRSTYLISTS. Ultimately... your hair style and the way it looks in your portraits is up to you.
4. Glasses: if you wear glasses normally, we encourage you do so for your portraits. We will use posing and lighting to eliminate or minimize glasses glare as best we can. Glasses glare can usually be removed in your final portrait orders/selections for an additional fee.
5. Braces: If you have braces, we can have them removed in your final portraits for an additional fee if you wish.
6. BLEMISHES: any and all blemishes will be addressed and removed in your final portrait order/selections. Do not stress if you wake up the morning of photos and they are there.
7. Shave: A clean shave is a must. Please make sure to shave your face the morning of photos. If you have facial hair, please have it neatly trimmed and groomed on photo day.
8. Please wear or bring a plain white tshirt or under armor type shirt to wear under your tuxedo shirt. NO BOLD COLORS OR LOGOS PLEASE.
9. We will provide tux shirts, jackets, and bowties. We have many sizes to fit "most" everyone. HOWEVER, if you feel you might need a larger size, we ask that you bring your own tux shirt, jacket and bowtie.
GIRLS:

7. Makeup: If you don't normally wear makeup, we still ask that you wear at least a good foundation. This will help even out skin and keep retouching to a minimum. For best results, we encourage you to wear the same amount of makeup you might wear on a date or a formal function. A little is great but do not go overboard.
8. Please wear or bring a spaghetti strap tank top so we can slide straps down underneath the drape to hide them and you still remain covered. Modesty is key here.
9. We will bring the drapes for your formal portraits. Please note they wrap around and off your shoulders about an inch.
10. TAN LINES: tan lines will show up in your drape formals. If you get a spray tan, please do so over the weekend so it has time to settle in. Tan lines can be removed in your final portrait orders/selections for an additional fee.
11. Jewelry: Earrings may show in some of your portraits. We recommend small studs, pearls, or hoops. Necklaces are a personal choice. You do not have to wear one but it tends to add a little something to your portraits if you do. We will have a small selection of imitation pearls with us if you choose but we like for you to have your own choice of necklace style as it makes your portraits more personal to you.
